Ambient NOx Monitors
The Model 405 nm NO2/NO/NOx Monitor™ measures nitrogen dioxide (NO2) directly by absorbance at 405 nm using a folded cell with corner mirrors to achieve a ~2-meter path length. Nitric oxide (NO) is measured by modulating the addition of ozone to quantitatively convert NO to NO2. This new instrumental approach has the advantages over chemiluminescence of being an absolute method and of requiring much less power, enabling portable measurements of NO2, NO and NOx. SD card data logging is now a standard feature.
The Model 405 nm NO2/NO/NOx Monitor is designated as a Federal Equivalent Method (FEM) for NO2 compliance monitoring (EQNA-0217-243). More Info Request Quote |
The Model 714 NO2/NO/O3 Calibration Source™ combines our Model 408 Nitric Oxide Calibration Source™ with our Model 306 Ozone Calibration Source™ to provide a highly portable transfer standard for three pollutant gases without the need for a compressed gas cylinder of nitric oxide. Calibrated concentrations of O3 are produced by photolysis of oxygen, and calibrated concentrations of NO are produced by photolysis of nitrous oxide. In addition, calibrated concentrations of NO2 are produced by gas-phase titration of NO with O3. Calibrations sequences can be programmed in internal memory via a user-friendly touch screen interface.
